Save As

You may be saving a copy of an output style, filter, or connection file. In any case, EndNote has appended the word "Copy" to the filename. EndNote does not allow you to save changes to the original output style. You can give the file any name you want, but we recommend that it not be the same name as the original file.

Your copy will be saved to one of your personal EndNote folders. See Folder Locations Preferences for information about where these folders are located.

When you display a list of content files in EndNote (styles, filters, or connection files), the list is compiled from both the original installed files found in your EndNote applicationprogram folder, and any modified styles you have saved to your personal folders. (If your copy has the same name as the original file, you will not be able to tell them apart in the list.)
